Sure, send me an email at the office and I'll get the graphic team to get the original sent across to you.
Might be of general interest that we have a Kenny Laird Corsa C in next months issue and will be covering the V6 3.0 Corsa B from MMV Performance in the coming months (not forgetting one of the staff cars belonging to Scott - Flip Corsa B).
Mag has been generally received well, a few rough edges as to be expected and a few minor printing issues but on the whole looking pretty good - and only one lad has complained that there wasnt any topless birds in it.

Could well be interested mate, I dont make the decisions alone so will speak to the rest of the editorial team about it for you on Monday. When you send me your email can you include the spec on the Scooby so I have more info to go on.
Cheers,

had a look today. well its a bit crap really. photographs are terrible. the pictures are feathered and looks the same all the way through. lots of adverts rather than actual articles. not really much info about modding that I could see (only a quick scan). hopefully iy will evolve into somethign better. could do with being a bit cheaper

No bother, shall pass it to the rest of the editorial team tomorrow and get back in touch.
We were down in Falkirk again today shooting Ricthie's car, thankfully the sun stayed out for a while so it all went brilliant. Heard the latest cruise up there went quite well too.

Photographs were actually spot on but the post processing wasnt (and the printers werent properly calibrated) - something the printing company got booted in the balls for. Less percentage of adverts compared to the other mainstream modified car mags. There was a how to guide and also a trackday school article but we have a lot more to follow. The mags only £2.95, cheaper than any other mag in its field.
The same negative points have been raised by a lot of other people so we know what areas to focus on for issue two.
If you have any suggestions drop us an email and we'll do what we can do, as you say thats the only way for the mag to evolve.

I remember ya, had the fast Punto turbo with the dark wheels.
What happened was we shot the photos in RAW mode and the graphics team didnt USM them properly, this was compounded by the printing company making an arse of things at their end too. We use top quality cameras (Fuji bodies, Nikkor lenses) as we know that pin sharp photo's are a must. Just a scunner it didnt work out in the majority of pics in issue one.
We like to call it "soft focus", easy on the eye LOL. These probs will hopefully all be ironed out before issue 2 hits the presses.
Speaking of the Koni, have you heard from his lately?

Yeah was no bad bit baltic for me tho was up in my corsa (finally back on the road) and had the girlfriends brand new punto up,
Spoke to Peter, owner of the scooby and we battered a few ideas around, we were thinking if you did the feature we could do it at Star Perfomance and get a Rolling road done at the same time, gives you and him an accurate output reading (somehting to publish) and gives star peformance some advertising aswell kills two birds with one stone! we reckon the car is punting out about 320 to 350bhp just with his current modifications bear in mind it's a jap import with 276bhp at all four wheels standard
