yeah but how much traction can they get in 1st, 2nd, 3rd... bet not alot if they floor it!

the twin LET nova... 4WD not FWD

350bhp will be mad yesh, just think it would be better coming from the back wheels

far too much power for FWD, even with any sort of LSD!!

plus the wallace stage 4 is quite a bit more expensive than what there website makes it out too be because they dont mention anything about extra parts which you need until you ask them...

try nearer 3 times the price on the site!!

who said anything about phase 4 and running fwd

My Astra would be completely terrible with any more power than it has. Its already a chore to balance your foot if you want to leave the scene. I'm going to start commuting in the GSi, no such issues

IMO it's all very well having all that power but at the end of the day it's a nova. with big power I want traction and the chassis to go with it

kerry - grow up.... i never said anything about your personal life! I clearly stated that I, read I, me, would not choose to do that to a vectra.

I also stated in plain english that it was not my place to tell people what they can and cant do.... read before you write.

valid reasons not to mod a vectra -

As marc said - little gains per £
they keep there value like a stone floats
They are big and boring
Kitted up ones look very silly. Do you not cringe when you see a 'kev' going by in a bammed up mondeo etc etc.... same thing

These are my opinions...... they are valid reasons to me.....

Take a look on Regals website Replacement throttle bodies and inlet manifolds offer around 7bhp for silly amounts.

fair enough and i agree with points 1 and 2 and when referring to a vectra i dont mind hear those valid reasons

but like u say the rest are just ure opinions and could be put better. i need an everyday car and do not have to means and space to run a second for fun or in ure case 3rd 4th and so on

i can take criticism but sometimes callin someone a ned and sayin thier car is basically crap can be seen as to be goin a little to far

These are my opinions...... they are valid reasons to me.....
