ok ive been intrested in the mantzel manifold , after reading an review/How to fit in TV . But if the velos is cheap then ima intrest . Also i was wondering if u guys could clear some stuff up for me .
I understand that u need to raise the rev limt using a chip to get the best out of this mod . But will this put extra strain on the engine ?? If so what sort of extra work and parts would the engine need to make it runsafe or is it possible to have the engine running with the incresed limt ??? It seams like a good increse for ££ , but if i need to sart doing lots of other engine work , then iam not sure sure .
thx for any help
chris

All you need is an uprated set of rod bolts - costs about £70 and will enable you to run to 7500rpm in complete safety. Some people like to fit uprated cam belt tensioners too - about £90 for a set from SBD
