Arsenal English players
Keown
Campbell
Stack
Taylor
Cole
Parlour
Bentley
Liverpool english players:
Owen
Heskey
Gerrard
Kirkland
Carragher
Murphey
There all 3 teams have just as many english players as each other, with a few from the rest of britain too, with the others being foreign/europeon, it's the same with all the big clubs accross europe.
You cannot slate another team for not having enough english players in the squad because all the sides are basically the same.
You are all arguing over nothing and getting nowhere!!

i think hes englands no.1 striker in regards no english player can hold the ball up as good as he does and link play up
i think defoe should be given a chance soon

Would have to agree with you there Defoe is starting to look the best bet out of the current crop of english strikers

And btw in the list i have used for the three teams, all have featured in the first team on numerous occasions during the season, which is all that matters players can go from the reserves into the first team and back to the reserves they are squad players therefore yes they do count!

i dont think he will sell... look at the players that are coming to the end of their career bergkamp/parlour may be one more season in themas subs.... hence why i think he will keep pennant may be even loan him out again for half or whole season

think thats abit harsh on kirkland. injury free hes a top quality goalkeeper.
still think carragher is alot more steady than lauren
but everybody has there own opinion

I would (if I were Wenger) let Parlour/Keown/Kanu/Wiltord/Gilberto go and bring in Pennant/Reyes/Mexes (Auxerre)/Aliadiere (looks like an outstanding talent)/Bentley/Reyes/Senderos/Clichy
I would however loan pennant to a team like Spurs (not spurs tho) until Xmas and loan bentley to a team like Leeds for a season to get experience... same with Cesc/Hoyte/Thomas/Garry
