I just lost out slightly on one from 80-120 on a private road.

But that was with the old filter and it ran awful on that i thought Much smoother now.

2.0 16v Corsa/Nova running 15"s

Less power, similar torque, less weight (not much though)

LMFAO at this thread. All the ''ctr crap'' etc etc - most of you lot drive nedded up Corsas so I don't think anyones in the position to be calling a quick 16k hot hatch 'crap' Fact of the matter is no it isn't perfect but it's a dam site better than most other hot hatches out there. For those at you who are making assumptions without even driving one go and book a test drive.

There are niggling things which I'd change if I could i.e steering is a bit lifeless and heavy but these are minor issues. It's a pretty quick car, if you don't like vtec don't buy it simple as Never had any problems, thrashed everyday and had now covered over 50k miles! It's also VERY good on petrol for the performance you get which is nice

Id like to add my opinion on CTR's

Id like to state i have sat in one, but not driven one.

I would like to raise the following points:

1. IMO They are ugly as sin. (new ones a tad better)
2. Its a honda i dont like hondas
3. VTEC's are more race bred engines that are excellently engineered but more at home on a race track than on twisty english roads. IMO I may have not driven a ctr but i have driven a vtec.
4. They DO have a silly image.

EG #1: You should come check the looser who goes racing corsa's and saxo's in maidenhead whilst talkin on his fone with his trendy hairdo Why would he race a corsa/saxo? Its like me racing a robin reliant? This however is not a reflection of ALL CTR drivers.
EG#2: Driving home on lunch break over A4, see a ferrari ragging it over the roundabouts screaming at full throttle, shifting loads. Followed very far behind by a? You guessed it a CTR.

This post is all IMO and please can we stop these silly bloody i love/hate CTRs everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This was mine

I'd just like to add that I dont drive a nedded up corsa and that i've never said that they were crap also I have never been in one but seeing as my corsa is just as quick if not quicker then I feel I can judge them
