i modded 2lt 16v turbo will beat a scooby yes, i have taken a few, last one was in a Corsa 2.1 on throttlebodys.

i would say theres not much in it, but on the take off the scoody will get say a 10foot lead and you will not catch him up.

as i say 2lt 16v turbo corsas are not that fast

BALLS
I have a vid that says otherwise, plus I was witness to this on 2 occasions

a standard 205bhp corsa 2lt turbo Vs a Subaru Impreza WRX STi 280bhp 4WD
from standing start to say 100 i know where my money is........

put your money where your mouth is, if u think its balls
i will get both best of 3 £100 says the scooby wins..........

thought you of all people would know they are 204 standard

I think:

Std LET(204BHP) Vs Std UK Scoob WRX (240BHP)

- stationary start - Scooby to win
- Rolling start - (50-120) Corsa

The Scooby-ecu that Dave Wallace and Pavlo do on scoobynet are very well known in the scooby schene. And the scooby responds well to ecu tweeks...look at the prodrive pack and infact the wrx import which has the same engine as the Uk turbo just a different ecu map to run 100 octane fuel. the wrx import will be the same as our uk version run on normal pump fuel, this is why you have to run them on optimax or similar and octane booster like millers.

good driver can lift off well, a bad driver may not handle wheelspin correctly, or not be familiar with rev needle blipping just before wheels begin to spin.
