I think its a shame... But like you say i guess the traders them selves can advertise if they wanna give discounts...

And matt, i do remember a few companies giving upto 25% off...

if a company can offer 25% off and still make money on it wouldn't that suggest that maybe it was overpriced in the 1st place....

Most companies i know off buy their products @ around 50-40% of the RRP.

This all depends on when settlement of the bill is paid also...

I'd be suspect of companies offering a long-running 25% discount scheme.
