How do i go about changing the engine capacity on the log book...just fill it in???
Cav engine...what is it.1998cc
I asked at DVLA when I was thru on Fri gettin Ryan's plate transferred and the guy told me that it's not necessary to change it as long as u've got it insured for the right engine size.
If u do, u'll need to pay back dated tax.
Either that, or change it when it needs taxed.
is that right...........
No thats not right, you have to inform the DVLA of the change of engine, it could void your insurance if you don't. You will also have to pay the extra tax as a 1.2 is in the lower tax bracket
