its only a 1.3sr with a full exhaust system but its ripe for ragging along the backroads of leamington

Drew... you have obviously never driven a FWD with any decent power? As soon as it looses traction it just flys round to the limiter, not a lot I can do about it...

The smoke is because of a bit too much oil in, thats now sorted with a full oil change.....

And off the lights, it was a classic 1st to 5th gear change LOL

Not bad.Seems a bit slow though at the start when Drew mentioned you hitting the limiter? Would have thought it would fly in that situtation.

Corsa nut... car was well down on boost, only doing 11psi (nealry standard). Now back to 20psi (hitting 22 in sixth!).

Car is totally different now. Wanna do some more vids...

around the 20 second mark of the vid, it did not sound like u lost traction, thou from the lights u obviously did

it dont seem that fast on the vid, u wanna race against another corsa, say a gsi or a sport. so there is somthing to be compared with. good video tho, looked fun.

Looking nice, just get it tidied up, gloss black powder coated rims will finish that off a treat!

Nice sticker to have as well, im hoping to go late summer!

Also adam - yes make sure u tighten the bottom link between the calipers as mine leaked there, now sorted though

yeah didnt seem that fast even at 11psi , get it back to what you normally have then do some vids against sumit else.

I've done a few vids in the past Tim, where I was hurtling towrds the camera at a silly fast rate, yet when I watched it back it didn't seemthat quick, so having done all of this and knowing what speeds I was doing (afterall I was driving the thing) I would say you were quick on the vids, but the film didn't show it.

I've a vid on my PC of the old A1 rallye sport rwd cossie focus (500+bhp) tearing it up and down a duel carrageway. I knew it was fast, but didnt get a feeling for it on vid...

So I knew when I put these on it wouldn't look anything like it does in real life.

Best vid i could probably do is go from a rolling start, have camera facing backwards, and pull away from something like a scooby?

Its like when i came towards the camera in the countryside bit, I'm in 3rd gear changing into 4th at decent revs.... gotta be an easy 70ish? Doesn't look it though!
