f20 is usually about 20-30 % loss
i think you will find that figure is at the wheels

thats what the normal figure is though,
everyone at the roling road day i was at
with f18, f20, f28 all had between 18-32% transmission loss

they set the loss tho dont they!? i was always lead to belivee it was 15% with a FWD car

afaik it is about 20-25 loss from flywheel to wheels.

i asked him whether is was at the wheels or flywheel and his response was as the fly which means its around 140 at the wheels... i think not some how can some1 work out wot 208bhp at the flywheel would b at the wheels pls as this figure came up a few times

If it was 208bhp before at fly, then at the wheel (using 20% of transfer loss) it would be 166.4bhp.
therefore it could be possible that he was reading the wheels not the fly

dno whereabouts you are but if you can take it to powerstation in cheltenham, they are really good there, they mapped and chipped my 106 really knew there stuff, colin mcrae used there base in a rally a few years ago cant remember the year 2000 or summit. They have a website, do a search if your interested

you may still get another wildly different result on a different rolling road, things like air temp, air pressure, even tyre pressure can make a huge difference, if you want pub figures go to a rolling road place that gives wrong over inflated figures, if you want real numbers, the one you have seems okay, 170@wheels seems a little low for your modifications, however does seem a realistic result, a good rolling road operator will always deal with figures at the wheels, fly losses are calculated but with modern rolling roads are farely accurate, and you cannot put a "set" figure on losses.
if you want a spot on result go somewhere that takes results from the hub, but dont be upset when your figures are lower than you would expect.

I went to mech repairs in Cheltenham yesterday, the only thing i can thing oh was that the temp in the rolling road booth was 28 degrees dont know if this made any difference

I would drive it as normal if it feels quick enough etc can't see the problem if so many people think it's just the rolling road anyway aswell as u thinking it feels quicker etc.

Pretty sure he's somewhere in maidenhead. tunes cossies and evos, and does live mapping. heard good things about him by a work mate who took his RS turbo to him, so possibly worth a look as he's dead close to you.
