on the boot if ur having trouble u need to just prep paste the whole panel and then blow the area in and re-laquer the whole boot lid!
then fade out up the pillars!
easy!
looks gd otherwise, bet u get alot of shit in ur paint doing it in ur garage!

Are you not worried that the paint will flake off the rub strips?

Cheers for that C4, I'll have a do.
Rubstrips were just an experiment, they've been primered etc so shouldn't flake. Were really intended to be a temp measure to cover up the shit job someone did of my passenger door til i could get the lot resprayed.

Few more pictures, only got back to it properly today as I've been busy with other things. Got more and more pissed off as things kept happeing to create more work, like me catching my wing mirror and cracking the base Hopefully I'll have it back all together withing the next few days. Anyhoooooo:
Sideskirts ready (ish) to go on:
Back bumper drying off:
Whilst that was happening, decided to sort the rust underneath and whacked on some underseal whilst the compressor was handy
Then went back to sorting the rust out on boot, blending paintwork into old, also retouched drivers door handle:
So it's ok for the road again as of tonight, bumper needs finishing though:
*sigh*

Had an interview yesterday for my old job back, went really well, then they told me it was for a shift I can't do Woulda been handy to know beforehand, though they seemed keen to find me a job somewhere. Fingers crossed.

Sprayed them, then went over them with P2000 wet&dry, then some cutting compound and then resin polish Still a bit to go but it's mostly done.
Also, £1.99 metal polish from Morrisons works just as well as G3
