name one player that lived up to their billing, i cant remember even one all it does is place expactancy which cripples young talent

Im not sure on others, but I know Owen and Gerrard were all known 'great' talents from about the age of 15. Atleast they were around Liverpool. And everyone knew big things were going to come from those two.

But yeah, half the time you hear of this 'new pele' and then he is never heard of again!
