no, set it to do 1/4 mile and it will stop reading after a while and show the 1.4 mile result

Oi you cheeky c**ts, lol. I didn't want to drive brosters car because it would take mroe than 3 runs to get used to it and I'd rather go on a RWYB day so that I have more runs to try launching from different revs.

Don't you worry, I'll be on the strip soon

Agreed that would be interesting MArk. Saying that, we'll have to get both our cars on a weigh bridge see how much difference there really is.

Rob_Lee, what spec nova did you have to do 15.2?

Gtech knows youve done 1/4 mile by simply measuring gforces, it can work out using quite simple mathematics how far youve travelled and once it knows this it can work out your power outputs too.

Once it knows how far youve travelled and how quickly youve travelled there working out the speed is a piece of piss

How does this work if you don't immediatley brake when going over the line? It won't register a change in G's if you don't ease off??

it measures acceleration, and time, from a predetermined point (0mph)

The maths isnt challenging

if it knows how far youve travelled it just stops timing when youve travelled 1/4 mile.

as for the gtechs being crap, yes they arent 100% accurate but the next best thing to actualy timing gear, better than using a stopwatch and sppedo
