all that was removed from my old shell... new shell, havent got round to doing all that to the new shell.... Its not a very major step! I'd rather be happy with its handling before worring about stripping a few more grams

yeh im well up for a corsasport track day should amke it abit of a big event would be awesome to go round the track with aload of other corsa's to see how they compare. Ive been on 3 track days now brunters donnington and cadwell park along with a trip to the ring last year that was awesome, Of those track days the corsa oerformed best at cadwell and was probably the best circuit imo but if you have people coming and its there first trackday probably not the best plan as there is no run off!!! So shall we organise something thats a nice easy track for the beginners so we can all help them get involved!
Could we even rent out one of the tracks and have a corsasport day maybe tied in with someone else to get the numbers up and the price down, i know a few clubs do this with brunters could be well worth looking into.

So if the timing was out it would cause it to overfuel?

im not a mechanic but seen as its had in the last 3 months new AFM, ICV, TPS, injectors, fuel filter, cambelt, crank angle sensor etc im kinda clutching at straws now it drives ok and pulls well upto 6500 rpm but you can see fuel coming out the exhaust, smell it as well when its been idling for few mins.

And you have uprated cams in there as well?

Sounds just like my Novas problem, overfuel, lumpy idle, drives ok though.

We are swapping engines over if replacing the coil doesn't help.
