Yeh, its good. I used meguiars polish and scratch-x and came up really well. Its not a high speed rotary polisher so doesnt burn the paint. Use ALOT less polish aswell.

These are more likely to burn paint than a proper rotary polisher as they are fixed at something silly like 3000rpm. The rotary polishers are variable down to 600rpm!

Good to know.....
Think I might invest in one soon, so variable speed settings is a good thing on them to have?

It is a good thing, but unless you put all your weight into the polisher and hold it in one place for half hour i cant see how it would burn the paint otherwise.

The pics in this thread have made my mind up. But my 2 local halfords have been sold out of pretty much all Meguiars stuff for ages now. Luckily I have the Meguiars '06 catalouge here with mail order, so I might invest in some new bits and bobs
One of those rotary polishers looks a good idea too...

The boy who had the Vectra before me used a machine polisher to change it from pink back to red. On some edges, its white. As in primer white. As in gone far to far with the machine polisher and taken the paint off
