Have to agree with Steve
Corsa might be a better car but saxo would do it

iv seen it in loads of places from different sources that the 1.8 SRi is 27/28 secs to 100 its old news even ross knows this
just because its a corsa and this is a corsa site, doesnt mean you can just brush timed figures to the side because it suits you
everything including the power ratios, compared to the times etc adds up, its true., accept it

erm have you actually been in a corsa sri when its having a go with a vts?
Theres nothing in it. very evenly matched as far as performance up to 100mph.

yeah no doubt on the road that small difference in power probably wont make a great deal of difference, my argument was against the people saying the SRi will be QUICKER to 100 than the vts when if anything the VTS will be quicker

I'd honestly be shocked if a Corsa C SRi was anywhere near me.
Would be left miles behind and I doubt it'd be catching after 100 mph either (not that I'd go that fast)
Corsa is heavier, less power than mine and probably less areodynamic.
P.O.S - in standard I'd like to see a corsa C go out on track.

I remember pre - camming (possibly actually pre exhaust etc, so completely bone dry standard)
Pulling away from pete's 1.8 16v Sri - from a stand still, moving on dual carriageway from low speed and high speed on a motorway.

yeh this is what made me laugh
They seem to think, up to 60 mph it may be left behind, but after it'll have a second wind in power (like Naaaaaaws (NOS)) and go zooming past the vts to 100 mph Forgetting, the weight, similar power and large un areodyanmic shape.

i used to have a vts, had a few blasts with corsa 1.8 sri's, from standing start the saxo was off and pretty much gone, left the corsa trailing! When both cars are already rolling, and dropping a gear, vts has the edge by a fair amount, and round corners the corsa mite aswell give in
My vts was like a little go kart, could throw it anywhere and it just gripped
very very underrated on this forum
