I was, but split from boyfriend so sold the house. I would recommend interest only if you are going to buy a house that needs a bit of work doing to it. That way you can make a profit when selling it which will be a deposit for your next house.

FFS I hate living in Surrey, there are no 2 bed properties for less than about £160k and any that are less than about £200k are absolute wank.
