i've started with Leeds, i'm about 6th in the league, board expects promotion though. Neil Sulivan is shit so have Jimmy Walker on loan who seems ok, brought 3 CB's in with decent heading and tackling thats about it.
I'm in debt so no money but making money most months so not too bad.

How about we have a little competition? Everybody start same league, same countries, same database and same team and we see who does the best over a month? Screenies will be needed to back up ur posts. Winner chooses next team, league, etc?? Just an idea

what formations people playing, having no luck trying to play 4-4-2, with wingers, quick tempo, closing down, and counter attack on.

Depends who's in ur team? If u got a big man upfront i'd play direct and also use the target man. Long balls also to him. Quick wide men, i'd play short, direct and use the wings. Get the wingers running with ball also. Try 4-1-2-1-2. (4-4-2 diamond) with DMF running back and AMF running forward.

i've tried using the wings to no luck, still persisting though, I'm Leeds, just won my first game in 15 match non winning streak! 3-0! thats with a 4-1-2-2-1 (wingers pushed up 1 level behind the stricker.

My crewe team, 13 games unbeaten, to go top of the league, went off to watch West Ham, came back to continue playing a couple of hours later, didn't win for 13, got the "vote of confidence" won another 4 in a row or something, unded up 10th, but won the Johnstones Paint Trophy.
It's bloody hard when you've only got 100k to spend

If you're West Ham, don't sell Mascherano if possible, he's got a fucking 80% sell-on clause

Got a problem, won the league twice with celtic through to the last 16 of the champions league just now but West Ham have just offered me a short term contract to beat relegation with a view to a long one with 61 million to spend 
As far as i can see there's only Tevez missing from the squad they started with. I had to shut down the game to ponder it 
What do you think i should do?

lost the first 6 games at West Ham conceding 5 penalties and 4 red cards 
Managed to eventually keep them up on the last day of the season so got the long term contract.
Bought Defoe, Anelka, Geremi, Huth, Arteta, Wright-Phillips and Bendtner already and still have 10 million

Just done my first season with Newcastle.
Finished 16th in the Prem 
Knocked out of the FA Cup in the 3rd Round
Quarter finalist in the EURO Cup 
Runners up in the League Cup
Amazingly they offered me a new 2 year contract
Had major injury problems all season, hopefuly if Owen, Parker, Given, Luque, and Martins stay fit ill do better next season.

I was joint top with Chelski then lost 6-4 to Utd themn lost 1 nil at home to fkn Watford now 3rd, 2 points behind Utd and 6 behind chelsi... got std liege in 2nd round of CL Barca are out of it

i got sacked for the second time as Leeds manager, 3 quarters into the second season. Good news is i've been taken over, some iranian or something like that just put 39 million in, (although transfer budget hasn't changed yet)
Started using different instructions home and away, so far going good after 3-4 games.

Finished my 1st season as Aberdeen, finished 5th in the league, was cruising in 3rd before the SPL split but thanks to an end of season slump where i won 0 points i finished 5th, knocked out by Rangers in both Cup quarter finals
Just had to install undersoil heating at a cost of £1.5m, despite fact i already have it installed
Just secured Arsenal as my parent club, they've loaned me Song and Denilson for this season, shame it's a striker i need
