wrong colour.
also, you should have had it set into the floor, so you don't have to go 'up' it.

4 poster is for custom exhausts. Did look at 2 poster but couldnt get under them and work comfortably as I am 6'4" the 4 posters are better as they lift higher and you also get the height of the wheel clearance.
also get the added benefit of diagnosing suspension problems easily and working on the car with all 4 wheels flat as the car would be on the road.

no clearance problems here. ramp height is only 70mm and run on ramps are 1.2m long. Company that installed it have the same ramp and have a tvr cerbera and a golf that is lowered 80mm at the front and have no clearance problems.
cars can also be reversed on if they have silly big bumpers

have you got the middle bits that lock in, so you can lower the ramp but with the car still in the air so you can remove the wheels etc?
you might have to get longer ramp run ups to get lowered cars on
il come and work for you

yes, have a jacking beam on order and clearance wont be a problem. 1.2m ramps onto a 70mm high lift is uber low anyway.

only thing is,signs are meant for advertising,if i drove past that id be wondering what vsport does ? Need another sign with a bit of description saying what you do,for potential customers driving past
And how much does a unti like that set u back rental wise,im thinking of renting a unit myself with a mate and start some sort of valeting buisness (using only meguiars and qutoglym products) with window tinting as a sideline
Does asda have 'beans, bread eggs, apples' etc under its sign?
Natwest 'money, loans, credit card' under its sign?
Dont be stupid.
most people when they see a sign think about it and then look on the internet etc
If i didnt come on this forum,i wouldnt know what the fuck vsport meant?
Not all garages, companys have websites, and asda's and natwest are worlwide conpanys,so theyre well known.and dont need to advertise what they sell.a company thats just started up needs to be clearly signed up with what it provide's and offers the customer.
If i drove past that i wouldnt have a clue what it was for,Vsport could be for sports equipment for all i know?
Im not slagging dave off for his sign at all im just giving a bit of advice thats all.And i say good luck to you and hope all goes well

ASDA and Natwest are well known companies so you automatically know what they do without it needing explaining on a sign. V Sport isnt such a well known company
Regardless, the services you provide are fairly specialist so for the amount of work you'd get from walkins after seeing a more detailed sign wouldnt justify the cost IMO. You'd be better off spending that extra money putting an add in a specialist magazine or website.

Right
as for the sign, the front one cant be seen unless you are in the unit complex (only 6 units) so by the time you were in there you would see the smaller sign that is going next to the door with our phone number, opening times and services listed.
the rear sign is there so people that are looking for us will find us easier as we are a brand new unit that isnt listed on maps and the postcode isnt recognised by 90% of maps, sat navs and multimap etc...
another problem is that the size of the sign on the back is already 4x bigger than the council allow anyway and in the summer will probably be hidden by the trees which grow quite thick. we will also have a big sandwich board on the grass verge next to the road with a description of what we do.
I might put the website address in black vinil lettering along the guttering on the back though. see how far I can push it with the council.....
