the bench fits in nicely, its the back seat that is the problem,
you need to swap the back seat brakets tht are spot weled to the chassis,
simply drill te spot welds out and weld the others back on,

you welcome to my old ones mate if you require them

the bracket differs if the car has a split seat or not?? nothing to do with the age of the car??

split seats or one piece bench is the difference, yes they are welded to both cars

Can't believe you managed to get hold of that interior even though it'd just been sold!

And good to see that Iaz has done yet another awesome job on the paintwork!

That is Pukka mate!!!

With regards the the EPAS Unit, you were right. It does defo have to be gravity fed. I've just ripped out my battery tray in preparation for a new lower tray to mount the unit on.

Just a quick update of todays work.....

finished installing the dash, all secured and fitted now,
also fitted the wings, 1 x door and a skirt and some archs and bonnet and 1 lamp,
couldnt do anymore as im waiting for a black door handle and some bolts etc so will go get them from the scrappy tomorow if its open,
realy need the poly bushs to turn up now so it can go back on wheels and get wheels outside so i can fit the other door and line all the panel gaps up etc,
some quick pics anyway, hopefully will return tomorow with seat brakets etc so i can bolt the seats in properly and put door cards on properly
enjoy

door card offered up

Coming together well now mate looking good!

the red paint through the holes in the underside of bonnet would really piss me off though!
How come you went for the leather interior? i thought you would try and find a mint GSi standard interior for it
