Fitted myself the button ready for my boot popper to be installed and connected to it
I havnt connected anything to it since i didnt quite know if this would work out, or if i would like it.
Im going to be having blue LED's in my dash when i can afford and so i purchased a blue LED switch similar
Above the fog light switch i have a blank button (not sure whats meant to be there, but never mind ) so i figured this would be a cool place to locate the button.
So i took out the button and sanded it down flat. I then drilled the hole for the button, then primed it up and sprayed it in matt black
Then, once dry, looked good so i put the button in and popped the nut on the back, then put my car back together.
Turned out alright tbh, not sure if i 100% like it and im not yet sure of whether the blue LED is an alright colour but in the button colour range there was also a plain black button, so if i dont like the LED version i can simply swap it for a plain non-illuminated version
Also going to be getting a LED version of the fog light switch from what ever cars they come off or ebay.
Finished look - was getting a bit dark by now the button is not illuminated
What you think?

I want a fog light button that has a blue LED in it now, but i cba to pay £8 for one off ebay so ill wait till i find one at scrappys or cheap cheap
Any ideas what cars the ones with blue LED behind come off?
Alarm getting fitted tomorrow with boot popper also being done at the same time.
Decided on something else i want to do to my car now i hate having money that i can spend makes me want to do too much with not enough money.

Fitted my new handles that were sprayed black today didnt take too long, but still came across problems because the passenger one that i have put on doesnt have a lock hole on it. So i had to fiddle about and get rid of the lock that slowed me down, but its all done now and im pleased

My trip out today has resulted in the following stuff finding its way to my house
Compressor -
Paint and stuff -
And this which ive been assured is Vauxhall Black has right paint code (80L) -
Also - got to be safe
Caliper paint also arrived this morning so im waiting on the calipers now -
Then found some blue paint similar to this for the bit on the engine that im spraying -
And finally in my busy busy day, nipped round and dropped my strut brace off to be powder coated also a blue similar to the caliper paint blue.
Thats all for now, im also skint

Todays job -
Decided i fancied changing the colour of the trim inside.
For those who have a blank moment when reading this and cant remember what colour it is, here -
Decided on doing them matt black. So set about taking the car apart to get them all out didnt realise id have to undo so much to get six bits of plastic out ah well, they all came out, got primered up and sprayed matt black.
All went back just as easily, but with a lot more care
End result?
More than happy with how they turned out, tbh ive impressed myself
It seems darker inside the car, which is to be expected but still looks alot better than before.
Pics -
