you still have to play us, Chavski and Man City away yet though, thats 9 points easily dropped there!

I'm not going to make any predictions either way as I think now is when the Premiership is going to get dificult. Its the games against the teams that aren't fighting for the title that you have to watch now and not take for granted.

playing us away early in the season, and at home now is two totally different things...ask Chelsea!

No one has better home form this year!!

agree 100%

It's the teams who are out of all the cups and not really playing for anything you have to look out for. Towards the end of the season teams who are safe from relegation will just be told to go out and enjoy the football, I expect some shock results in the last few weeks.

You're all discounting Chelsea after 1 result, they win next week and the others slip up then its all back to the way it was before this round of results.

My Prediction:

Man U
Chelsea
Arsenal
Liverpool

no one has discounted them, just saying they are easier to catch now after this weeks results, as are Utd.

True, on previous experience with Mourinho however i believe they'll push Man U all the way even though as i predicted they now have 1 or 2 stars too many to sustain squad harmony.

It's going to be tight this year. Liverpool away is the banana skin. We really can't afford to lose as it would mean going to Chelsea only 3 points clear (making the big assumption everything else goes according to plan). We could really have done with the extra 3 points yesterday so that this wasn't so much of an issue. It's going to be even more charged than usual this year.

By the end of March it should be clear if Liverpool will be anywhere around there or not, as by then we'd of played our 3 hardest games left IMO (Utd, Arsenal and Everton - all at home).

Utd will still have City and Chelsea after March. Chelsea will have Spurs, Utd and Arsenal. And Arsenal will have Spurs and Chelsea. So if we are around you guys still by then Id be very happy.

please...

Chelsea are quite clearly struggling and there is a long way to go until the end of the season my friend. Chelsea are 6 points behind Man Utd and think they can catch them, what's to stop us and Liverpool thinking we can catch Chelsea?

As said earlier in a U2U to my scouse friend, my end of season prediction is:

Man Utd
Liverpool
Arsenal
Chelsea.

You can quote me on this come the last match of the season

I agree, whats to even stop us?
