not that fad, the s3 is a alright car, and for people such as joe of the north it suits his needs
but given the choice i cant belive people would rather have a heavy hatch that a proper drivers car, the vx220 is by far the better choice
no offence to joe or any other s3 owner

JR me and you are going to fall out I can see what JR is saying and I agree with Fad. It just depends on what its needed for, for motorway miles nad for creature comforts I would much rather be in the S3 than a 2.0 Corsa or VX. For blasting down A-roads and round a track the VX would win hands down, if you want a bit of a giggle at other cars expense its the Corsa. Horses for Courses, there are many other cars that could be considered to for around £12k, Focus RS, Astra GSI, LCR or dare I say it the CTR.

Agreed!
I'd only choose the S3 if I had a family and was 50+
The other 2 would be waaaaay more fun and involving to drive!

Sumed up very well there mate They all have unique values as to why you'd buy one over the other

Seriously, it's not more of a drivers car than a VX220, can none of you see that?
