an intercooler won't give any extra power.

what cause an intercooler gives power, it kools the intake charge into the turbo dont it, which in turn produces power maybe only 10bhp or somat but ........

Injectors and Fuel rail is about £80 from LMF, Turbo is £400ish through the right sources. Be interesting to know what other differences ther is between the two, if it's just those though, with a bigger intercooler, ther should be no reason why you can't achieve VXR stage 1 figures of 280ish brake, for around £1500 .

Sure the pistons are different and it has oil spray bars (whatever that is) which the Z20LET doesn't

i can understand why they are so rare, they look shit!!!can imagine it in a few years time when it's a cross between orange / pink!!!

although arden blue is a popular choice for the astra, they are still very rare cars, i hardly ever see them.

I enjoyed both my MK4 Astras although the GSi wasnt as good as the SRi imo

this sri t is running vxr injectors and turbo with a courtney sport remap stage 4 and the power is 286bhp and 331lb ft

I saw one of the 500 SRi Turbos about 20 mins ago, black 02 plate one, it was raining.

sorry Andy its just from personal experience as my mate has a CTR and one of the lads were I work has a GSI and they had a race and the GSI could not keep up with it. Granted the CTR did not leave it for dead but the GSI could not gain any ground on it
