im going on looks and previous vauxhall history of making hot hatchs.
As opposed to Fiats history of ground-breaking hot hatches?
Vauxhall Nova - used to great success in rallying for several years
Fiat Uno Turbo - used to dispatch oil all over the nations highways and byways

So Fiat have one year of history of hot hatch success then?
Sorry - I'm just in one of those spiky moods where I'll argue with anyone about anything!

Steve dislikes everything in the world apart from his old cupra, 106gti and his xbox 360.
If you went out and bought a boat or something like that steve would have to justify why you should have a 106gti with clean arches instead.

The Fiat and the Corsa are the same car anyway. They share over 50% parts and are based on the Gamma platform. The only reason why you would buy one over the other is because of the styling. Most of the engines are GM in them. I'm not sure who is going to be producing the engine on the Abarth though. But they will both have around the same power - the Punto is supposedly going to have more power. This whole argument is pointless and John has explained it nicely.

I doubt anyone is angry at your opinion, moreso the fact you are an intolerable attention seeking fool.

Well done Adam, Corsa looks
If it was my money i'd be in two minds whether to have the Corsa VXR or Mini Cooper S. But a half decent 2007 Cooper S with some toys on it will cost at least £18500 so I think i'd have the Corsa.
Certainly wouldn't have that N/A Clio 197.... wheres the Torque Although this new Punto sounds interesting....
Can't wait to start seeing these on the road

i have driven minis and wasnt that impressed tbh it was really stiff and tight to drive.
the punto does sound interesting, but if its anything like other fiats i can see the build quality being crap.
admitedly there are also better manufacturers out there than vauxhall but they win over any french and italian cars imo
