Small update which as people are asking.
I have every part now for the engines so i can get them built up soon, just need to make some machining work done on the block and head.
some of the last bits threw for the head.
Oversize 1mm forged valves
Double Valve Springs
Also got the car a new reg plate which i did a deal on
The car went to PVS show aswell for them who did not see it, had the new back window in which i think is one of the best things on the car, looks ace.
Also paied for my ECU's thanks for Jamsport, I have 2 x Go-Tech Pro X ECU's on there way to me. Not many people have heard of the make as its new in the UK BUT i am asure people its very very good ECU, all my mates over in south africa who run 9sec 1/4 in there FWD Astra's all run Go-Tech.
http://www.jam-sport.co.uk/
I still have a few things to buy, the last big bits on the list are clutchs, wastegates, blow off valves and PWR chargecoolers. After them its just little bits but theres a few grand in just the above but hay its only money, be worth it in the end i am sure
Any a final note for people woundering how much this thing is costing. I worked out the other day, now i have done alot of deals and group buys but the RRP of EACH engine was £7000 without ECU setup

Tbh getting wet is the least of his worries in the rain, what with 300+ bhp through the front and rear wheels

Isn't the car going to need to be on a Q plate when it's all done?

The car will not be used in the wet at all, its is not a everyday car PLUS like say the car would be un-useabule.
As for the black one, i dont think i would sell it unless somone came along with a good offer. The V6 can just sit in my garage covered up and collect dust, plus its nice to take them both to shows .
Ed - no the car will stay on its normal reg mate, i just put it in for a MOT as normal, if you think about the other twin engine cars they are all there normal reg's B19 DUB and ???UFO for the twin engine golfs.
So it will be the new C13RSA

Well as you can imagine this is a very exspensize car to build.
So since july i have a few little bits which where needed (Like rest of the ARP bolts, Hydraulic Clutch setup etc)
BUT nothing big to write home about its a matter of getting all the small thing so i can get my engines together and into the car for the final time.
Next big item will be the Twin Plate Paddle Clucthes which are £437 each (£874 just for 2 clutch plates and pressure plates )
once i have these i can get the engine away to the machine shop for boring line boring etc and heads away to have all there work.
Then its build them up and in
I still have loads to buy after then as its the little things you do not think about, all the fueling system is one so i recon a few more grand and i may be alittle closer
In the middle of all this i have started another toy to have a laught with.
Fiat Cinquecento 1.4 turbo with NOS (Uno Turbo engine)
