well the madness has started... head is going to tomorrow to be done and the pistons are out some have rings and bearings done thats about it at the moment it started to rain

more progress today the head has been sent and the bottem end is nearly done ... decided to clean the front up abit...









then first coat of stone guard





also sprayed the oil cap and re done the rocker cover...

you just spray straight onto oil cap? or primer or anythin>?

i cleaned it then sprayed it with plastic primer then the colour

well been a busy day again fitted the gear shift shortner and painted and cleaned some more of the front..

then fitted my decat pipe again and fitted the new manifold


then fitted the new radiator


put the front end back together


some shiney chrome bolts


now ive started tiding the wires up

get that manifold off, it WILL lose you power through 80% of your rev range!

if you do keep it, at least cut off the collector flange and fit one that is the right size.

well got it finished on sunday after alot of hassle with different things but its ok now just needs the cams etc setting up! and to be a bit quieter i think

I have the timing marks for you r cams, are you using kent verniers?

how deep did you pocket the pistons?

yes, I have all the correct timing calculations, did loads of testing on these cams during fitting.

how the feck did you manage to get 11.5mm of lift on standard pistons???? ive got very deep pockets and only magane 1.2mm clearance when the timing is correct!

bring it in and get it run in on the dyno. managed to do 80% of my running in period in 4 hours today

well havnt done any progress in a while!!

well at the moment im having troubles with engine running.

had the injectors serviced and cleaned

fitted a new fpr
and decided to buy some jenveys more user friendly for me hopefully more reliable to




ive sent my ecu off to omex to get repaired soo in the mean time i thought id get some shinney bits on

yesterday..




i think it looks alot better and fresher it could do with a clean tho got my finger marks on it already lol

and today this arrived and trial fitted



need to tidy it up abit more under the bonnet and few more bits i want to do

Good that omex can fix the ecu!

if you need a copy of your map to re-load, |I can email it to you, or if you prefer I can email it directly to Omex so they can upload it and check it for you.
