that was excellent!

i know this is going to sound mad but the cars look like they are going faster, ill try and explain by saying its the angle of the cameras.

proper racing that is!

They were faster, they've been slowed down since then because Alan Gow thought he'd fix it even though it definitely wasn't broken.

it's like everything back then though...

they try to slow everything down for safety..
the old grp a rally car's( or was it grp b, that got banned?)
f1 car's, intro of none fully slick's, and decrease in engine size, lack of turbo's like the olden days too

i was at that race saw the clealand soper crash in front of us
late 80's early 90s touring car racing was awsome far far better than todays rubbish
