its all how it affects power to weight gareth, it takes more of a power hike to get a better power to weight in the heavier ibiza, whereas cams, with the other mods he has might gain him 25-30bhp a remap will gain the ibiza 50bhp, but this has less of effect on the power to weight

Iam not slaggin the VTS's cause there great little cars, but no wherenear the ibiza sorry

Iam not gonna get into a pointless arguement with you, my ibiza will soon be around 420 BHP so its irrelavent to me.

But a remapped ibiza is suprisingly quick.

As i said i like the VTS, its a great little car, cheap and good fun, but to get 160 out of them requires more than cams, you need a LAD conversion etc.

But get yourself a ibiza, you wont look back.

You dont need a lad conversion, bloody hell i study the forums and countless people have fitted 708 cams and with other mods like manifold etc have all senen betweem 155 - 165 bhp...

I want a ibiza as my next car anyway, but i think saying a remapped ibiza kills a vts is a overstatement, pulling 2 - 3 car lengths over 20 - 120 aint alot in my books.

Nope, but plenty of VTS's and been out in my mates LAD converted 106 GTI, which was fun but not FAST.

Maybe iam spoiled by mine and the fact i drive fast audi's all day, i dunno.

Ok watch the vid in my first post, and tell me that a revo'ed ibiza would "kill" that, cause i very much doubt it.

Clio 182? could be a good move with retaining good handling...more poke and a slightly (only slightly) better interior?

That last video where it sets off from standstill, doesn't seem to wheel spin.

I cant arque those vids though. If your so taken by those, then cam your VTS and and go kick some ibiza's ass.

What power are the cars in those video's.?

yeah where ive took it from he said something like his foot slipped off on the 0-60 one but it stopped it from spinning.

his was rolling roaded at 161 bhp, with catcam 708;s manifold, full system, filter, catch tank and a few other bits.

155bhp is cammed vts kinda power, obviously with mapping to setup etc, thats easily ibiza stage 1 remapped territory wen you look at power to weight

You driven one? Try a few cars I think is your best bet and see what takes your fancy.

At the end of the day look for something thats the complete package as handling doesnt have to be perfect unless you regularly track it. For road use you want something good enough but not that good you drive like a cunt everywhere.

maybe a Glanza see what all the jap fuss is about?

So has a power to weight ratio of approx 170 bhp?

Thats amazing as a ibiza with stage 1 map will be similar maybe a little more and dont go like that and has shit loads more torque.

Who knows eh? i stick up for ibiza's cause i have one, but when i had a saxo i stuck up for them.

Get a ibiza bought and tune it.
