god knows, ask butler, as its his brothers

ive seen a few 2.016v in fiesta's run mide 140's though ? with little mods

they arent 130bhp tops mate, in a mondeo there supposed to be 136bhp. so im only 12bhp up on standard. its got some universal air filter on it, and running an rs1800 inlet.dont know if the gearing affects it, but its using a cvh 2i gearbox. aside from that its standard, but im hoping the result is due to the fact that its a healthy engine

You prolly have more torque through the rev range and it would be down to driver ability

As for the XR2i, yo have to realise that engines are mass produced and you will get variances, I think it was dead on, My old XE was meant to be only 150 bhp but made 163 and 165 bhp respectively on two different rollers, I was just lucky I had a brilliant engine

Speaking to a friend who has broken more XE's than people have had hot dinners told me of an XE with 170 bhp stock out of the box

Mate there was a Nova near where Lee used to live in Lordswood with a Stock XE with a fully flowed head and that made 180 bhp with just head work.

Yours seems to go well anyway be interesting to see what it gets on a different set of rollers though.

very good result gav, just seems to be over fueling abit, there was no blue smoke though, fook knows where its all going!!!!!

Me niether mate going to get a leak down test etc done on it to try and confirm something. Then i may be back in touch as I feel a new inlet may be in order

Going to try an aquire the front half of the magnex system I have so that i have a full system and drill the airbox etc to try and squeeze out a little more as well

I reckon this and an inlet will see 130

Figure is closer to the book stats for a 1.2 though. So it may have over read on the last RR like mine has on this one.

Yeah I know it's closer to a 1.2 this time, as the other one was slightly over rated

Wanted to put my 12v on the rollers

Warren mine spec:
PVD filter,
Full mild steel exhaust,
Mantzel.

Am looking into a FPR valve. Worth it or not?

As said in the other post, Thanks to jr for sorting it all out, and hello to all the peeps I met. All top people.

Check the GSi results tho luigi... more torque! Might be more power and the fact mine is stripped out is kinda making up for that torque difference hence the similarily when we raced. altho ur top end would b higher

Well, they mess with your fuel pressure, the fuel map is made with the pressure at its standard level, so changing the pressure will make it run lean or rich.
