He just isnt a winger. He has been played there for both Ajax and us, but he is a forward really, and will end up playing there for us once we get rid of Crouch and sign a world class winger IMO.

He has shown signs of being a great player though, but important to give him the chances now and not just keep him on the bench.

Yes and no.

He has played well at time, but the last 6 months he has been shocking. I can handle him not scoring goals if he is creating them and working hard, but he just hasnt been doing that. So Id rather see us cash in why we can and get someone else in who will play well week in week out, and not use rotation as an excuse.
