Really didn't like this when I started looking but as I scrolled down it looks like you've done a good job! Crying out for some deep dish alloys like pick ups have!

Good projeect just dont cut corners with the wheels as this wil make it or break it.

only criticism is the fact the whole rear is smoothed in which is not a good idea as this will be the part of the pick up that flexes the most.

Fantastic project... everything is different and not the normal, even the colour. Works well, and was nice to see something fresh. Top work on the paint work, it looks brilliant

Well a small update:

Due to it having a dead engine and just generally doing my head in it was about to get abandoned at the side of my work until i had the time to play with it again.

Just as i put it round the side we get offered a cheap corsa sri 1.4 16v, so that was bought and out it came again! The plan was to strip the corsa and fit the engine in the pickup so thats what happened.

The new engines in and it runs! Finally! I drove it for the first time around the yard and up the street and it felt really good, loads better than i thought it would be.

So its all go again now to get it all finished and MOT'ed. Hopefully i'll be able to take it to PV too

Also fitted lower springs at the back so its allot lower now and looks tons better, got the black sri seats and doorcards in too.

I'll try and get some pics tommorow.

Heres some updated pics as promised.

The whole car needs cleaning inside and out and still plenty of bits to finish off but its nearly there now. The paint still needs flatting and buffing too, its also covered in overspray at the moment but its still shining!

* Remember its all on a budget!
