totally gutted, got nothin to say on the goal as it was terrible marking, didnt really feel utd offered much besides the goal though, i only recall the rooney miss bein the only other chance,
very much the same as recent games, where you score and stick 9 men on the 16yard line!
didnt think we desered a win from it but i dont think we deserved to loose one bit.

Hes a liabilty at times coming out of the goal the way he does. Done it on a few occasions now where he would have been better staying on his line. Few of his goal kicks were a bit clumsy too. his general goal keeping I have no problems with at the moment.

firstly I know United won the points, and thats what matters, so congrats for that.
Right....as for us, a few players played well as a team but two or three let us down a lot today. Kuyt had a shocker, he has played on the fact he tries and tries and tries this season but tbh that excuse has come to an end now and he needs to start to deliver, as he was piss poor once again. And the other poor performace came from Kewell. OK I understand he is coming back from injury, but he has done so much more in 5min in previous matches this season than he did in the 70 odd mins today, he didnt run at Brown and his passes all went to United players.
Babel looked excellent when he came on (our second best player in 20mins IMO after Masch) but you cant blame Rafa for starting Kewell as he has a lot more experience and has been showing good form. You also cant blame him for starting Kuyt over Crouch, as tbh Crouch didnt deserve to even be on the bench after his performance at Reading.
United looked solid, better in defence than you were attack today IMO. Anderson looks quality in CM and was controlling a lot of Uniteds play. Evar also looked quality in attacking, and wasnt too bad defending although got caught a few times. Rooney had a quiet game, as did Ronaldo....other than his 3 dives (two blatent) which he doesnt need to do as is a great player. How he wasnt booked for any of them though is a joke, is showing the English league up doing shite like that.
We deserved more from the game than we got, as controlled 805 of the match, but as has been the case for the last few seasons against the top sides we couldnt turn that control into goals and suffered because of it.
Im not sure how most fans will take it, but for me their are positives in it, as shows how far we have come in terms of being at Uniteds level, but it also shows to the owners that we are still one or two top class players away from turning that control into wins against the top sides. Im betting the press wont print it thay way though.
