tbh its no big surprise given the team we put out and the team they did. Fairly happy with the way a few players played for us given the task they had, but also confirmed to me the few that need to go in Jan, and if not 100% this summer.
This competition was always about putting our reserve type players out and giving them a chance, and did well to get this far.
As for Crouch though...fucking muppet. We still had a chance when it was 11 vs 11, after that it was damage limitation IMO.

Yup, Babel is showing signs of getting used to the English game, he should be great come next season when is fully settled. Alonso looked good seems he has been out nearly all the season other than part of the Arsenal game 10 matches ago. Thought the keeper had a good game, never easy to step into a match after sitting on the bench all season and be so sharp. Lucas didnt do too badly, but think him and Sissoko isnt the best pairing there.
Crouch, Sissoko and Voronin can all GTF, were all shocking.

Sissoko again, his touch let him down a few times, he was late in tackling a few times and got caught in posession a few times. You could see how frustrated he was when he fouled for the yellow card
Voronin wasn't creative enough and crouch to be fair to him just did his usual job of holiding the ball up.
Keeper did do well, lucas was unlucky also withe cech's save
Did you see carragher after lampard scored you could see him saying 'jammy bastard' was very unlucky tbh.

I'd like to see Arsenal win it tbh, but doubt their kids will beat Chavski if they ended up meeting them.

I think Sissoko is a superb player, does the majority of Liverpool fans dislike him?
Always see him being slagged on here and wonder why
I suppose i dont see him week in week out to make judgement

Hasn't been on form for a while, frustrating. Have witnessed him playing awesome football in the past mind and he always gives 100%. It's one thing to say a player is having a bad run of form and call him the shittest in the prem like 'smack' seems to think

Who do you support out of interest?
We can handle one of our players being called shit, infact we have a few players who probably fall into that category. Its more the fact that you are calling him the shittest player in the league, where if you watch his performances last season (specifically against Barcelona where he was MOTM) it is fairly obvious that he isnt.

No, a lot of them like him, he is just in a very very bad slump in form. Along with the fact that we also have Gerrard, Alonso, Masch and now Lucas (who has come in and played well) a lot of fans think we may aswell cash in on Sissoko.

When its put like that plus the fact the Juve & Inter want him i think selling him wouldnt be a bad idea, will probably make him a better player for it.

I felt so sorry for Carra last night. Most defenders wouldn't even have made it across to get the block in, so so unfortunate for it to go in like it did. The sending off killed the game which was unfortunate as it was a good game to watch up until that point. Alonso played well considering the opposition and the fact it was his first game back. Voronin showed his inability to hold the ball up after Crouch got sent off which killed off any chance of a Liverpool goal. Shevchenco worked hard and deserved his goal imo although it was a real shame that the Liverpool keeper got beat at his near post for it, apart from that he had a really good game. Looks like another Chelsea v Arsenal final then!
