Have you been around brands?
The first bend is doing it for real.
Silverstone was the dullest track I've ever been on. Only good bit was coming round the area near the brooklands grand stand, going under the bridge flat out right, then sweeping left.
I'd be up for brands.

Yeah, my mate said that. He said in games you think nothing of it but doing it for real shits you up a bit, especially as he'd only just bought his car
I'd definetly do Brands, around the corner from me

All I can hear is cental blah blah blah blah.
Look Jr is going out of his way to organise a track day om HIS own time with that idea that the MAJORITY of people interested are amateurs.
We will get a great deal with Motorsport Vision which in turn will make the so called "two day event" easier to swallow.
Once this has taken off we will be more connected and have more opportunities to expand to other tracks etc
Also when it takes off I am more than sure I will be willing to travel and even stay over night for such events.
Think people need to stop whining and if they are so great at this stuff organise an track event with credable discounts and packages.
How about some support and commitment as discussed before other tracks will eventualy happen.

please please take note of what were doing, trying to start a new project, which will open up cheap trackdays to non corsa members too, its a new project, which needs alot of work to sort, and TBH im not going to trust someone to sort it out ive never met, so i personally would use the people who have a good relationship with me (seen as CS) to get this off the ground, if its a sucess (which im sure it would be as Ian said if we used some of the same faces from here) we will move venues and locations around
its not a national meet (not yet anyway)

Thanks Fad, great post.
If this is a price thing then I'm quite sure we could negotiate something on hotel rooms and offer not only discounted track time but also discounted accommodation.
Please also note as James has quite correctly pointed out, if what we're hoping to do comes off then this is a longer term venture which will satisfy all demand wherever it exists - most predominantly at locations where we already have a good experience but also at places like Oulton, Knockhill which are also excellent circuits that are not in the South.

Hotels are very cheap now for the night so if distance is a problem stay in a hotel.
