I don't really know much more about HD, but 1080i interlaces the image. It would logically follow that the i stands for interlaced. Integrated doesn't make any sense in the context.

y is it only tvs that are say 37" and bigger that are 1080p? nothing smaller

because integration is 3 pixels down 1 across you cant fit a multiple of that integration on 720 lines
