robbo - You know im biased but id say if you can find a nice one get it, they hold there value very well and are great cars imo.

Off the top of my head heres a quick spec which they got over the normal gti's..

Came in either 150bhp diesel or 180bhp petrol
Black headlights
Front valance
Rear valance
sideskirts
18" BBS RC wheels
Spoiler
climate control
6disc in dash changer
gear knob and gaitor
steering wheel
clocks
handbrake lever and gaitor
brushed metal interior trim bits
pedal covers
Recaro seats with red stiching and 'gti recaro' stitched into them
Black headlining and pillars. (very nice to stroke )
Black seat belts with red stitching
Smaller mirrors than the gti's
lowered 15mm more than gti's.

With the diesels i know you can get a stupid torque figure out of them after just a remap but you may need to upgrade the clutch as they are know to start slipping after depending on who does your map.

I deffo dont want silver as not a fan as had several before (sorry dude ) and i dont really want black for a day to day car as im uber lazy and hate cleaning cars

Only leaves me with one choice lol, alto this blokes looks strikign in red

Gonna start looking properly tonight Have a scan of VW site and poss contact a used car contact I have who might be able to help
