New bumper
Thoughts?
Need to get the roof sorted as the carbon panel was a turbowank idea & failed. going to try Benkid's way & get some brackets made up to hold the original glass in place.
may make it to PVS on sunday yet.

Cheers guys, i think the bumper is slightly twisted, it hangs down passenger side, and sits ok-ish drivers side.
Tried to get it to line up, but needs a bit more work.

YEH BABY!
Got the sunroof in, used the standard sunroof, just "trimmed" it a touch with the grinder 
Will get some pics up tomorrow as im going back to finish it off.
New Lambda sensor is on & it runs soooo much smoother, just need to get my filter pipework sorted and some other little bits im waiting for from vaux to arrive.

Actually drove the bugger today!
Was going fine untill i went over 50mph & a plume of blue smoke erupted from the exhaust, wounder!
Next weekend, start stripping the engine down, bugger!
Sunroof is sealed & doesnt leak though!

Hmmm, forgot about this, again.
Smoking less now, think it just needs run, possibility of residual oil in the exhaust that is burning off now.
Other problems...
3rd gear is fucked, sounds straight cut, and 4th isnt much better. New box time.
AFM is heating up when engine isnt running, think this is effecting the mixtureas it must be thinking its hot air going through all the time, also killing my battery.
Took the whiteline front arb off to see if that changed the crazy wheel angles, it did not, need to get over to tyre place for laser tracking, but its like 15miles away, so my new tyres may be wrecked by the time i get there.
Hmm, what else went wrong?
Oh, engine gets mad hot, like instantly, not just the water, but the whole thing, got a corsa td rad on, but i dont think its working right, so i want a normal rad now, will need new water hoses aswell.
Exhaust is getting on my tits too, sounds like a bee hive in there when i put foot down, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
Well, thats it for now.
Bloody thing, soul destroying to spend this long building the fucker, only for shit to go wrong. Will i make Billing? I dont know, i would really like to, but i dont know if i can trust it to get me there!!

Like 18days away! Weekend of 11th july! Basically got today, tomorrow and next weekend! Working away inbetween all that. Waiting for the sparky to materialise.

Alot of people pick the rear lights out, but bar standard ones, i'm not sure what to put in there, bearing in mind i dont want to spend 100quid on a pair of rear lamps.
Couldnt do much today as was waiting for the sparky to turn up, which he didnt.
Could have been out to get the tracking done, done it a bit better by eye, still needs sorting with the laser gear, but it shouldnt kill the tyres getting there now.
Taken the front bumper off again as still not happy with the way it looks, so going to fettle that tomorrow.
Picked up new box today, needs input shaft fitting, didnt pull old one out as wanted to leave it drivable if the sparky turned up, doh.
Tried the new fuel pump relay, didnt solve the heating afm, very odd, hoping i dont have to rip the loom apart to find the problem.
Hmm, thats it for now, until tomorrow, stay tuned!
