GTF we shattered our transfer record by spending £23ish Million on one of the worlds biggest talents. We dont go out and spend £30m on a 30 yr old because he's mates with our owner.
Kindly go somewhere else where you have a clue, no-one is saying they don't want money to spend but chelsea are what's wrong with football, they miss out by the slimest of margins and they declare they need to spend, and dont care how much

2 back to back league titles, it was all United and Arsenal, and to an extent Liverpool before then.

FPMSL.
I love how its 'Liverpool splashed the cash when the yanks came in'  Yes we bought Torres, but we sold a hell of a lot of players and our net spend was that of the previous season under Moores.
Our next most expensive player was £14m, and then £11m and two at £10m. Those are our only 5 players that have cost double figures - and one of those isnt even at the club anymore.
Correct me if Im wrong but you lot have atleast that many who have cost £20m+ ???
