i know, but.. im hoping, the shock of loosing fabulous at the back will make them nervy in defence, and i think it was Panucci who had a scare in training with a slight knee injury will be playing it safe. but no babel or robben might mean lack of balls up to the front.

Depends which Holland turns up really you can never tell with them, Van Nistelrooy and Huntelaar could possibly be the most prolific partnership at the championships or they could flop all together!

should be a good game. in my opinion out the 4, games, only 1 team has played really well (Germany). and the others have been average.

It's the first real test for the big boys tonight, the rest of the games were fairly easy to predict barring any unusual results which is why a lot of people have won £££ at the old gambling so far!

Did I watch a different game to you? I thought Germany were average at best. Especially the second half, Poland ran alot of the second half and only didnt score cos of crap strikers.
IMO Portugal are the best team so far.

Agreed.
I probably should have stopped at a 4 game accumulator and not have to rely on France tonight! The 4 favourites have won so far, so fingers crossed on the French, wins me £24 from £1

Frings and Ballack compliment each other well and any team with Podolski and Klose will be there or therabouts.
I think Germanys weak link is their left back Janssen, he looked rotten. Wouldnt surprise me if they switch Lahm back to the left and bring in Friedrich.

They've only got Croatia, Czechs and Portugal who'll pose them problems until the final really though.
Stupid that they've made it a closed draw thing.
SHOULD be Germany v Portugal in the semi's but i can see Czech or Croatia posing problems against either of them in those games
