like i said before, with the emirates, its whats inside that counts. luxury seating all round, luxury box's etc etc. quality over quantity n all that......
i think i once read something about arsenal being able to add another tier to the emirates if they needed to, might just be making that up to look cool though.
Its only luxury as its brand new, it wont be any different than the new Anfield or any new topclass stadium tbh. Plus I suppose thats one way to explain your stupid ticket prices!!
I think its possible to add another tier, but looking at the pics it would mean taking off the whole roof as its one single structure - which means closing the whole stadium down!
yes but we have luxury now (and for the last 2 seasons) while you still have a shed for the next 3/4 years....

2003/04 - Champions (unbeaten)
2004/05 - Runners Up
2005/06 - 4th
2006/07 - 4th
2007/08 - 3rd
I'd say int he last 4 years we've done better... 1 x 2, 1 x 3, 2 x 4... rather than 3 x 3, 1 x 4

Anfield is far from a shed
Plus shed with an atmosphere vs nice luxury seats that are empty half the game and filled with silence the rest of the time.

Exactly, thats the problem.
Who wants to sit in an armchair with loads of foot space at a football match Might as well stay at home if you want "luxury"
Maybe thats why the atmosphere is so cr*p at places like Arsenal, everyone is too comforatable to get up & make any noise

Cant be that nice to sit in as they are all too willing to run down and get a nice panini and champagne or whatever it is they have instead of pies and beer at The Emirates.

For the price of a ticket i'd expect it served to me on a silver tray.

It cant, we arent in London you know, Anfield is one of the poorest areas in the country. And the regular joe fans (which make up the vast majority of our crowd) would knock the place down before they allowed tickets to be silly prices.
Thats not to say we wont rip off commcial tickets - which I hope we do

It'll go up, thats natural, but it certainly wont go up much as they wont fill it - simple as. The locals just cant afford it and we wouldnt get enough day trippers to replace them all.
We currently have hardly any boxes or other commercial seating - this is massively increased int he new stadium and is where the big increases will be.

Must admit, Liverpool do seem to be the most “down to earth” club out the so called Big 4 when it comes to looking after their fans, which is something I admire about the club.
