Aye, because there was a plethora of other managers queing up to take charge wasnt there?

The only other name in the equation was Harry fucking Redknapp.

The club was in utter freefall and with the games that we had coming up, Arsenal away twice, and Man United away, there was no way the fans would have stood behind Redknapp or many others should they have came in. Ultimately, we made the most of a bad season by having a good run from February and ended up finishing mid-table when we could have quite easily fell into a relegation battle.

Bad appointment my arse.

Appointing a man who admitted he hadn't watched any form of football for a few years wasn't a bad appointment?

Jeez. Ok then.

The man is a joke. He did fuck all with Man City then vanished. Then comes back being hailed as the saviour. 'King Kev' is back my arse.

I love the old 'he hadnt watched football for years' line.

As far as I am aware, you still have 1 goalkeeper, 10 outfield players on the pitch and the aim of the game is to still score more goals than the opposition. Depsite being out of the game for years, he still manages to make football watchable, unlike Fat Cunt Allardyce and his 846 backroom staff.

He got Man City promoted first season with record points and goals, didn't he? Then signed them players like Anelka.

He did fizzle out at the end, but did an alright job at Citeh

That would be the smartest move the club could make. Appointing the Grade A prick in the first place was the one of the worst.

tbh, if they would just get rid of Keegan and Wise and bring in Curbishley they would do very well imo

Hope Dennis Wise gets the job, the fans stop going to games resulting in Dennis wise being sacked and Mike Ashley selling the club.

Some blke on SSN last night was calling Ashley an idiot. He sits with the fans pretending to be one of them, but the whole time he is surrounded by bodyguards in black and white shirts. Reckons it's all an act.

Wise FTW

Curbishley is vastly under rated imo, he did a fantastic job at Charlton with little to no resources. And tbh he has been very badly treated at WHU, given half a chance at Newcastle I think he would do very well, they have alot of good players.
