Update
I GOT FEATURE CAR which made me well chuffed so thanks for all who voted!
on to the progress
got my inlet all fitted and working fine, after plugging the fuel tank vent valve return pipe into my vacuum network
the difference is very very pleasing! and i've blanked off the EGR as you can tell in those pics
you can also see the gap left from where i have removed the SAI pump, this saved a far bit of weight!
i know my bay is a complete mess, but i just wanted to get it working before tidying it up. but that is now my major priority.
also managed to find this bit of pipe, which is absolutly perfect for the pipe between the airbox and throttle body, as it has a junction for the ATS to fit in and a little bit of give as the TB and airbox arn't quite in line.
I've also fitted a full white LED dash kit, but im yet to take any photos.

Update
I don't know why I've neglected my project thread for so long, but quite a bits happen in the last 3 months but i can't quite remember all of it!
Firstly vectra chrome door handles
Then did my roof lining A,B and C pillars and all the other roof related bits matt black
Also removed a lot more things out of the engine bay, SAI valve thingy, loads of vac pipes and got quite a few more blue bits!
including my K1 quad core 10mm HT leads, battery has been relocated to the boot as well.
also I'm too cool for a fan (get it?) so I took that out as well...(it's broke really)
and finally its had a lot of work done in the body shop so a lot of the paint is all fresh, going to wait until I've got some better pics before i reveal that though!

picked my self up this little beaut for £40 from liverpool last tuesday
it had some pretty bad rust around the reg plate holes - bad times, so i filed and sanded it back to bare metal and hammerited it - good times
i'll more than likely get it repainted before it gets fitted as there are a few marks i'm not happy with
So tonight I set up how the soleniod will work, using my existing boot.
how it started
solenoid i'll be using
got distracted half way through by the mint beading on my paint work. Rich H would be proud of me
after alot of trial and error and more blood then i'd have liked i got it fitted in a position that works so took a few photos in case others want to do it
opens mint and is powered by the rear wiper set up, I tested myself to see if I ever turned it on by accident whilst driving...but i don't so all is good!
