Cant say i've noticed them squeek, they do occasionally when the car is cold but quite rare on mine atm

I saw one like that in the pic a few days ago too, so maybe it was at the same time if i drove past you?

you can get brand new 197 FFs for £12,744... don't seem like an amazing deal you got? still, gotta love liquid yellow!
its not really called the F1 edition anyway iirc, isnt it called the R27!?

Hope your loving it as much as I am -- got my first service this week, 11k miles, no problems so far.
Would have loved to get the liquid yellow but I got too good a deal on the black one.
I wasnt sure about the stickers at first but Im glad I got them- they make the car imo.
Get the clio badge off the back though- looks so much better with it gone.
Mine has deffo got quicker after about 7k miles, renault are now offering an ecu upgrade under warrante which will help to reduce the cold start stuttering, also gives better mpg and smoother acceleration-- having mine done next week.

They don't advertise them as R27 although that is another name for them, tbh, i prefer that name, but wasn't sure how many people would know the car as that
You can get a normal one for around 13k new, but i wanted all the options such as the seats, and the wheels, folding mirrors, cornering lights, which this one came with
These ones are 17250 brand new (well, they were when they were available) the paint is a £1200 extra and only comes on the R27, so as i'd decided on this colour, i needed to pay more to get one

I knwo mate, i would have put a deposit down on a house, but i didn't for two reasons, i am/was a student, and even though i could put a decent deposit down, i couldn't afford the mortgage payments yet so wasn't an option for me
I got nearly 6k for my 206, so have over 10k left which i will be saving

Cars both look awesome, I wouldnt sniff at owning either colour, cant say the same for my missus, she hates anything that stands out and bright colours. Stickers or no stickers, still look amazing.

Yeah i can see what she means, it's a little odd that i'm looking for a more subtle spoiler on a bright yellow car to
Cheers for the comments
