Driven loads of DSG's mate and although they can be a bit clumsy at times they are the future Smooth auto when you want to cruise then the paddles when your playing

where the made is'nt the issue, vw love cost cutting, and IMO they are no better than ford/vauxhall etc in quality now, my corsa c is far far better inside than a 9n1/2 polo in everyway for example
im not sure what mattb thinks ?
Totally agree... The stupid faults that we are dealing with now and the frequency i see them is unbelivable. The cars in quality have gone vastly downhill in the past few years, and as Jr says its down to cost cutting.
P.s its rumoured there wont be an R32 Mk6 or any 6 cyl Mk6.. . There will just be an 'R' model - 265PS 4 motion.. S3 style..

DSG is very good, although never experienced it.
Superior to BMW SMGII.
Getting DSG will help resale value, if anything the 'posers' choice, just like on M3's.

DSG is good, and has prooved to be rather reliable.. just got to keep on top of oil and filter changes on the box..
