My Type r doesn't have the necessary torque to get up the Stelvio Pass I'm afraid. If Nic Barnes volunteers to get out and push I might be up for it.

Oddly you're not far from the truth.

They got on at Dachau, (I was heading to Munich) talking about how they'd been round the camp and how "awesome the electric fences were", then how much they missed McDonalds back home

So I listened to this for a while, just looking out of the window, til they started trying to translate the warning signs on the emergency pull. One of them is reading aloud "Do not pull the handle unless in emergencies or..."

At which point I turn, look him straight in the eye and say "...or you will be taken outside und shot." In my best German accent, before going back to looking outside again.

They did the half laugh followed by uncomfortable silence thing, then didn't say another word til they got off at Munich
