Custom Code remap was done on Friday afternoon, car is TOTALLY different to drive, nice and smooth but when the turbo kicks in you can actually tell its there

Forge 007P is very quiet just how I wanted, overall very very pleased!

Was watching a Milltek cat back on eBay tonight but went for silly money (second hand) so I decided to treat myself to something else...

Can you guess what it is yet?

Now?

1 x Pipercross Velocity Carbon Induction System:

Yum yum

I probs should have but I don't think it will make a great deal of difference TBH, and then add exhaust and intercooler etc you'll need to go for stage 2 remap anyways!

So... Stage 1 map, Forge 007P, Induction Kit, Exhaust sometime soon will be fine its when / if I add the FMIC I'll need to worry!

looking good

Few things I would do

get 52 plate spec headlight surrounds
Fit your DV in reverse - its louder then. In fact fitting in reverse is the corect way as Audi fitted them thsi way to make it quieter]

Relocate the DV to the air intake you get less lag

Always on the look out for a mint full red leather it was one of things I looked for, black TT with red leather!

What difference do 52 plate light surrounds have? If you mean the silver a line ones 100% no no!

BlueFlame or Miltek will be next on my shopping list! Pipercross VIS kit arrived

Nothing exciting just a few new purchases to possibly sit in the garage and gather dust

Engine Bay "Bling" as part of a group buy on TT-Forum

Replaces all the shitty plastic screws with machined washers and allen head bolts.

Also bought a second hand steering wheel on eBay which will be sent away to get re-trimmed in nice fresh black leather at some point!

If I pull my finger out I might fit a few bits this weekend like the MK4 Golf induction kit.

When you get bored Jambo we'll do a swap

Fitted a treat, 10min job and transforms the engine bay with a bit of detail to match the filler cap and interior parts.

Got a little bored today so decided to get the wheels off and give everything a good clean, quite ashamed how dirty they really were!

Wheel off:

Soak with Bilberry:

Centre caps washed and soaking:

All clean:

Waxed up and tyre's shined:

Thats more like it:

Have purchased a second hand bootlid to do some jiggery pokery with but DHL decided to drop it from a great height and bend 3 of the 4 corners, so back to drawing board with that!

Got another little project on the go to keep me busy, but will update that as and when I get going with them.

Other than that, just trying to clean things up next up is a good interior clean, tomorrow if its a nice day!

Did all that shite inside the wheel come off with soapy water alone? Or, did you use some other stuff?

Wheels look good

Done the exact same thing with my RSTT's a few weeks ago.

If your cleaning leather then Gliptone is the way to go
