jules-ur contract is good tbh. u have £5 worth of data included and the blackberry provisions as well. normally that costs £15
Yeah, did a bit of phoning around for that deal.
I contacted Voda yesterday (cancellation dept) and the best deal they offered (after quite a bit of banter) was £35 over 18 months or £30 over 24.
Today the missus went to a store and got offered a pretty shitty deal, she then phoned the cancellation dept and got it at £30 over 18 months.
They seem to be shifting a fair few units...2400 in 1.5 hours this morning, I dont doubt thats why the price plans are changing so rapidly?
we set customer expectations on the net.
the £30 tariff should be either 500 mins 100 texts unlimted blackberry, or *i think* 500sms and 150 mins and blackberry data. tbh, they are the lowest they will go. good deals though tbh.
and we're selling them far too quickly, we only have 10k in our warehouse for midlands tomorrow. bad times

Lithium ion batteries DO NOT need charged for 16 hours, they have NO memory effect, the circutry inside them DOES NOT know or care whether it's the 1st charge or the 1000 and 1st charge.

so winmo never went wrong when 5.0 was released, or 6.0, or even 6.1?

Received my Storm at 8.30 this morning. Spent most of the morning setting it up mail /net, adding contacts, and adding apps etc and I have to say it's great.
First thoughts are that I really like it, it's smaller than an iphone which is good, the screen is great and the typing / keyboard system works really well. I'll just have to see how long the battery lasts lol.

That's the latest slightly bigger iphone as well cosmo, vodafone marketing told bubble it was smaller though so you must be wrong.

I like it how Vodafone claim it was designed exclusively for them, which is why it's available on Verizon in the USA.

Verizon are part of vodaphone or vice versa, some network in canada who aren't part of vodaphone have it though.

because blackberry are a canadian company, it makes sense to have the storm in canada.

That's not the point though, I don't care where they sell it, the network isn't voda though, so it's not a voda exclusive.
It's not a voda exlusive anyway because verizon are verizon, not voda, even if voda own quite a bit of them.

"exclusive to vodafone and partner networks"
advertising is aimed at uk consumer market, so when you tell a uk customer its a voda exclusive, it is in that country.
so, the storm is a voda exclusive in the uk, and is on vodafone partner networks across the world.
o2 say the iphone is exclusive to them, and it isnt. same scenario

o2 shouldn't get away with it either then, there seems to be quite a lot of untruths in the marketing for this.
If somebody had came on after being brainwashed by o2 about the iphone they'd have had the same reception.

there must be something about it the amount it gets talked about! everyone ive shown has commented about how good the screen looks, but then they have plenty of time to look at it when it freezes...

I think youll find we get roudn that little problem by sayign it was purpose built for vodafone... which is entirely true as we fudne dit... verizon in the US have it also who we own 45% of and as RIM are a canadian company they ahve a strong following in Canada and neither vodafone or verizon are present in those markets so our partner in canada also have the rights to it, completely diff to O2 who have excl right sONLY in certain markets such as UK

actually verizon arent verizon, as such.
Verizon are a US version of BT
Vodaofne ar Vodaofne
Verizon Wireless is a joint venture one-off company between Vodafone 45% and Verizon 55%
and as i said, we dont say exclusive... we say purpsoe built

windows powerpoint, windows excel, windows word, google maps, icq messenger, youtube direct, facebook, yahoo messenger, memory cleaner, google talk-ie when your on google verbally search for things instead of typing the word.
they are just standard apps btw
here is a pic of mine for comparison against a nokia 6210 navigator
ps, leewee, you mentioned it was running slow, or freezing, if you run the memory cleaner the phone will prioritise what apps u use the most and makes the phone loads quicker and makes the accelerometer loads quicker.
