You have one switch running 36 sets of lights? Dear god, I hope you have good house insurance.

on a 13 amp fuse you can run upto 3120 watts of power consumption this means loads of lights

erm, no. i don't know where you went to school mate but you can draw 2990 watts from a 13 amp supply.

P=IxV , P= 230X13 , P=2990

Maybe in the old days when we had 240v at the sockets but not anymore.

Also your lights look poo

eer the uk is still 240 volts not unless you do not live in the uk

How many watts of electric on a 13 amp fuse 240 volts?
In: Physics, Home Electricity [Recategorize]

[Edit]
[Edit]

Watts = Volts x Amps, so the answer is 3120.

Did you tape all those things to the ceiling so that MI5 can't read your brain and see what you're thinking because it's all a big conspiracy?

I think you were right - bloody hell!!

20valver, what is the power rating on each set of lights? Is it less than 100W per set? I doubt it tbh.

once the lights are in the windows it takes 2 days to run the wires out to the sockets and they are taped in place and no the mains wires are not coiled in circles they are all run in straight lines
