Just a little heads up if it wet. If it's dry then all is good

Normally leaks when people change their rear lights and don't seal them properly as I found out

Looks great.White 3 door scoobys rule.

Now i dont know he-haw about scoobies, but it dosnt seem to be very powerfull for the amount of boost its running.Id have thought i would be well over 300bhp at 19psi.

Remove rear spoiler for extra weight saving. Plus they can look good without a spoiler.

Hopefully have found the cause of the noise...

the drivers side manifold/header is missing a stud and you can feel it blowing.....

Also removed the heatsheild from the centre section and found a hole in the OE exhaust. Ahhwell... any excuse for an upgrade! May as well just replace it all from the turbo back... 3"

Car also seems to be nice and clean underneith. Will aim to get a thin coat of underseal on it.

At least you found it. Could be a reason why its not making as much power as hoped. A 3" turbo back should help it too. You know what turbo you want eventually? I hopefully will be getting a v5 type in white soon!

something like a 20g... or a newer equiv.
400'ish bhp...

Garret MD321H

The leaking manifold will be causing a loss in power.

Thats the car sounding better and possibly feeling a bit perkier too

Of the possible 6 studs/nuts for the manifold only 1 was tight! Replaced the missing stud and nipped up the rest. No blowing felt and a much less ticky sound. Also patched the hole in the down pipe and redid the gasket with some gasket paste at down pipe to centre section as you could see soot on the underside of the car. Not overly fussed on quality of those repairs as it'll as be getting replaced!

EVO coolent pipe of and silicon one on. Not the best fit, but much better than the Evo one that was just hanging on.

Really handy having the ramp to sort things out

this will be pretty wild.

It runs more than standard boost, and feels mega light and nimble.

soo wish i got a coupe now, you got a shopping list of stuff you want for it?

the 321 seems to be the turbo people want for that power, its the most expsensive but its outperforms its competitors all round they rekon

not that half the people on scoobynet know what theyre on about anyway..but y'know

Removed a 5mm spacer from the rears as i think they were fouling the arch. Soon see.

popped its track cherry.

Serviced it before hand, some nice 10w60 oil.... bled the brakes and fitted a materclylinder stopper.
Stripped the interior - bottom half of dash is gone, all trim gone. Moved boost gauge from piller to centre consol. Moved DCCD controls from by the handbrake to centre consol too.

Managed to do some 64s laps at knockhill in the wet on Japanese road tyres. Quite impressed with that Car was very wild early on till i got to grips with its characteristics (and also clicked the diff settings up a bit to have more torque to the fronts)

on track:
